Nominations Now Being Accepted

The 2026 CGGI Class has been determined. Nominations are now being accepted for the 2027 CGGI Class through January 15th, 2027. Professional, peer, and self-nominations are welcomed. To receive a nomination, please use the link below to complete the nomination form with the candidate’s information.

Priority consideration is given to candidates who:

• Are graduating high school in 2028, 2029, or 2030 
• Have limited financial resources to pursue a college education in the U.S. 
• Excel in the classroom and are committed to receiving a college education 
• Demonstrate the ability to play golf at the collegiate level 
• Are proficient in the English language 

CGGI’s investment in each participant begins with a weeklong summer camp focused on college readiness and placement, continues as a support system throughout college, and evolves to mentorship from Congaree Ambassadors to help each participant graduate and have a successful start to their early careers.

Participants Receive:

• Network of top academic advisors and athletic coaches
• Advising through college recruitment, application and selection process
• College and golf resume building
• Golf and fitness instruction
• College and career mentoring

Students are nominated annually and selected to attend at no cost. The Congaree Foundation covers all expenses, including airfare, transportation, lodging, and meals during the initial camp week.
